Ok I am "sailor sailing" not a crew member or mafia. Assuming there are crew members. I also didn't get my 1st request item. So 5 players at the pool have a idea of whats in play. That's about half of the players.

I didnt ask for the choice item mainly cuz my request was late in the phase and wouldn't get the item any way. Sort of gamble or anti request method.

I think that the optimal amount in one room is 3 because then you can share information semi-reliably and thaere are not so much competition for the items.
