Reading standings

hey, how to read them properly, what do they mean and why do they differ from each other?

for example on my standings i see that ProblemChild96 is destroying me with 6 and 26, but on his standings site i see that i beat him with 2 and 14. is it correct ??? what does it mean????

sry, i am long here, but never bothered about standings up till now, cuz i think there are people who secretly atk me in fog games/make me loose, so that our standings dont change. its not PC96, i just used him as example.

Hmm, I always took it as Tally to mean the number of games you've won and Total Games to be the total number of games you've played that particular user.. but obviously given that you and PC have different "Total Games" amounts, that's not the case. Weird.

no, total amount must mean smthing else, cuz the games iplayed with PC are more numerous than shown in the standings

Hey! Standings can definitely be confusing, especially when you're comparing from two different perspectives. Usually, it depends on the criteria each site or leaderboard uses — some base it on win ratio, others on performance against higher-ranked players, and sometimes fog games can skew things a bit too. It’s possible both are “correct” depending on the system they’re using.

Also, you're not alone I’ve had those moments where it felt like I was being lowkey targeted in fog games too

Problem child has this message on top of his profile when opening the standings: "Only the last 2500 games are counted."

This is why you see a different number - for you all games played are counted, for him only the last few are counted.

okay, thanks for coarification! but how to read standings overall? what does tally mean?

dictionary says, its something like " coinsidence, to match, to agree" etc....

If we have played 15 games, I won 5, you won 10, then you have a tally of 5 games over me. Because 10-5=5.

It's the difference between lost and won.

Of course, games won by someone else don't count. So if we've played 30 games, 5 won by me, 10 won by you the last 15 won by Fendi, then the tally between us is still 5 in favor of you, because 10-5=5.
