1st mountain edit. couldnt find original mountain kit, so manipulated some ranges i had from other maps. will have another play around if i can find it.
changed the *Ruse REGION colour as it was blue and could be confused with an ocean.
saw that I had misspelled Impassable on other edit oops

edit..things look a little different from my paint program, than they do in a browser.

i have a question on khurdzali and haskovo. why not merge the territories momchilgrad and ivaylovgrad into one and make it part of the khurdzali region? so that you will have 2 regions with 3 territories each. right now you have 3 in khurdzali and 4 in haskovo, but both give +2 bonus each.

you spelled "ivaylovgard" but "gard" is scandinavian, maybe it supppsed to be "grad" which is slavic?

the point of the map is to be 117 territories. (bishops request)
the math of the regions being 2 each (same) is because both round off that way, they both have 3 territories to defend.
thanks for the spell check, will fix that

The regions in this map are the actual oblasts of Bulgaria (only Sofia and Sofia-grad have been merged) .. Excellent!

As for Dragonport ... Only now have realized the logic behind the 'gem ports', the way they connect, and hence the map name.

I would suggest the Dragons to became playing 'territories', and to change the sentence into:
"Dragons connect to same colour gems"

P.S. Yellow gems are not easy visible and they're quite similar to the map trees.

ill take a look at this next. when test playing on it, the gameplay was the most fun to me, but it did get some comments of port confusion which i expected..ports and theme were an after thought.

Edit 3?

Yes. The regions are all legit political regions of Bulgaria, and I did originally have Sofia on it's own, but ended up merging it, as it was only 1 territory.

I had some luck adding different mountains. and changed up other things.

EDIT NOTE***
Label Mistake to fix:
Miziya missing, Berkovitsa (doubled - to replace)
Momchilgrad spelling
Goritsa spelling
*fixed

Okay, Bulgaria first.

I like the mountains and the title of the last version, but I liked texts and decoration in the previous one.
Mixing all together I have no idea how it will possibly look.

When I have time I'll check the territory names for other possible misspellings.

P.S. I hate 108 territories because it's 9 x 12; I love 117 territories because it's 9 x 13.

will take a look. the paint program used for the new mountains i haven't figured out how to input outside fonts, but it does give me the ability to change misspells and change pre programmed fonts all at once instead of individually like i had been doing with my usual painter. also it can bend the text when needed better than my usual program. still figuring the ins and outs of it. will keep chipping away/

Great job also with Battleground Bulgaria - 117 territories!
Please Hoodlum create a new thread dedicated, and start the beta test when/if done with inputting the map.

dragonport. feedback edit. personally the gameplay was fun, comment feedback during test games was probably the port/crystals confusion for the yellow ones. tried a glowy effect. made the dragons a territory suggested by bishop. so 3 extra territories.

*edit. after seeing it in a browser, yuk lol
