ok...i'm back with data.
Last American Party Tournament
https://dominating12.com/tournament/211Only for the Oregon Map.
Here are the games where the teams won
WITH a bonus on the drop. I've included the game link...just scroll down the game log to the beginning, and you can see the bonuses on the drop.
Wins with a help of a bonus (10 games)https://dominating12.com/game/1544651https://dominating12.com/game/1549808https://dominating12.com/game/1544653https://dominating12.com/game/1544657https://dominating12.com/game/1544659https://dominating12.com/game/1544660https://dominating12.com/game/1550441https://dominating12.com/game/1544662https://dominating12.com/game/1574080https://dominating12.com/game/1574081Here is a list of the games won even though the other team had a bonus on the drop (2 games)
https://dominating12.com/game/1544652https://dominating12.com/game/1544658Now for our current tournament....please note, many of the games are not finished yet.
https://dominating12.com/tournament/238Wins with a help of a bonus (5 games)https://dominating12.com/game/1626326https://dominating12.com/game/1625533https://dominating12.com/game/1625529https://dominating12.com/game/1625526https://dominating12.com/game/1625523Here is a list of the games won even though the other team had a bonus on the drop (2 games)
https://dominating12.com/game/1544652https://dominating12.com/game/1544658ok...even with our small sample size, there is already a
HUGE DISCREPANCY. That means if you have a drop on the bonus...you have a 80% chance of winning that game. That's
rigged win in my opinion.

The organizer generated the random and that's it
in the future it will be mentioned in the tournament that it is random. sorry about that but it will always be random
The games are generated in the tournament panel and the teams are entered here is the challonge link now
Also a drop bonus its not much about fairness in team games
https://challonge.com/760ka9pqSo yes, as a TO myself, I know that the games generated are random, but it's BJ's role to run the tournament. If he chooses not to keep the integrity of the tournament or the tournament fair, then there is nothing I could do. Players can choose to participate or not. Because this was not communicated (poor advertising), players have every right not drop out if they were unaware of the maps, settings, AND the fairness of the drop.
I rest my case.
Edit: plus games are supposed to be fun and if you already know you have an 80% chance of losing with very little chance of making up the difference right from the start, what fun is that? It's supposed to be fun. Don't suck the fun out of it because you can't be bothered to keep it even.
And for the winners....knowing they had this advantage?....bluebonnet and I often cancel games when new players join a team game and they are not aware it's a team game or when a teammate doesn't show up...its not fun for the other player.
