May I ask how the groups were randomized? I notice that I don’t play each person 21 times (which is what I would expect)

various ways. it's a draining process to make a large tournament. A LOT of copy pasting.
the hardest part is making sure u don't double up in colour selection before making a game start, because u have to re-do entering everyones name in the colum, all selection is defaulted on green colour. you dont want to get that error.. that you used that colour before. because you have to do it all over again.
I have found a work around for it by just using the back button..it goes back to original selection (cookies?) rather than clearing all the input, and then you can try and detect the colour double up, or misspelled username where i might have added a space in a copy paste
with the smaller tournaments, u can try and put the extra effort in to make each player play the same amount of times. at one point i used a spreadsheet calculator that dough_boy helped with. still, it's an annoying effort of copy pasting copy pasting, choosing colours, trying to give players there preferred colour or next used colour...
as i tackled this tournament, if i had spare time, i'd used a randomizing https://www.random.org/lists/
other spare hours, i'd tackle it with preferred colours playing other colours. so, players that had the same preferred colour would most likely not play eachother, which i realized later.
then i made a little effort to make some games where they played eachother. on one map i listed all the highest ranks in 4x9 categories where there was sort of an A, B, C, D tier according to rank. then after that, i did a few inputs where there was a more even amount mixture of different ranks in a game. bit of boredom, but it gave me some motivation to tackle another input load at the time.
but basically, for the quickest way to get as much data inputted. ill pre-select the colours starting with the default green > blue > red > pink >>>>ect to how it's listed.
then i'd copy past for example Hoodlum (black) and go through the 4 rows + 4 colums on the tournament page and place him 4 x on any of the available 16 black selection fields. then next would be Sluglord (yellow), and do the same for the yellow slots, trying not to make him play hoodlum too many times.

id have players names on a notepad with their font the same colour that they use.
it'd be great to have an

auto randomizer,
auto colour selector.
auto tournament points calculated (we have the number of wins calculated in the participants link, but the tournament director might have a different point system)

Maybe we can make a better automated way….

Is there a scoreboard for this tourney?

Yes. Go to the King Kong Quest link you'll see in every game chat and then click on "Participants" and it will show you the current scores.
